WWBA President’s Gala Day

36 lady bowlers gathered at coffee time before enjoying a fun Gala of 5 ends’. 4 sessions had been planned but towards the end of the third the rain gods had their way causing an abandonment of the fourth challenge A lovely cooked lunch was provided by ‘thefamilycaterers’ which was followed along with prize giving, the weather hadn’t spoiled anyone’s enjoyment and Mary’s Meals fund raising total had risen to £6,570.75 feeding 413.3 children in school for a whole year. Special thanks go to the WBC ladies team who worked so hard receiving the guests to the car park, setting out the green, laying the tables, decorating the tables and room with spectacular flowers followed by excellent waitress service – looking exceptionally smart in their WBC strip and aprons!
