Warwick Boat Club has 2km of good, navigable river with the picturesque setting of Warwick Castle as the backdrop. The stretch runs upstream from Warwick Castle, through St Nicholas' Park, and then on towards Leamington where the confluence of the Avon and the Leam marks the upstream limit. The Section enjoys excellent relations with other river users, notably the Leamington Canoe Club and Warwick Boats (pleasure craft hire).
The downstream 500m of the stretch hosts the annual Warwick Regatta, held in the middle of August. This friendly event welcomes crews from many nearby Rowing Clubs (and some further afield) and always attracts many spectators to the banks of the Avon in St Nicholas' Park.
The section's two boat houses are home to an impressive and well-maintained fleet of modern boats, comprising singles, doubles, quads, pairs, fours and an eight to cater for men and women of various abilities. Over recent years the Club has purchased new Stampfli coxed fours, Filippi doubles / pairs, Empacher + Filippi coxless four/quads and a Vespoli eight. The remainder of the fleet is a mix of Janousek, Stampfli and Aylings boats. WBC predominantly uses Croker blades.
The Section also possesses a good selection of fitness equipment, including free weights, a leg press and four Concept 2 Model D rowing machines.
In addition to this, members also have access to the main club house facilities.
