Tennis can be enjoyed by people who have never had any coaching, but with coaching it can be enjoyed so much more. Junior members in particular can benefit from regular guidance and honing of technique - this is important for those that are still growing.
We have a full schedule of coaching and events for all players to take part in and enjoy. Group and or individual coaching is available, helping you to improve and enjoy your tennis even more
For those adults starting out or returning to tennis WBC has a structured programme. The Rusty Racquets initiative is designed to bring players up to a level where they can join in with mix-in sessions. Led by coach Richard Napier the hour-long group session takes place on Saturdays from Spring to Autumn between 12.00pm and 1.00pm, and from 1.00pm until 2.00pm. They are free of charge. There is a weekly invitation issued by WhatsApp. To join the group please contact tennis manager, Gavin Henderson on 07787 568642.
Members are, of course, welcome to take individual lessons and other group sessions, as recommended by your coach.
The club is supporting local youngsters from the Evergreen School with a weekly introduction to tennis, on Friday mornings, sponsored by Bright Ideas for Tennis and led by head coach, Cameron Malik- see https://www.brightideasfortennis.org/iplay30.php.
