Warwick Boat Club (WBC) welcome Children and Young People at all levels and ages. Membership is free for 8 year-olds and younger, and low cost for older children- see https://www.warwickboatclub.co.uk/join/. Juniors are supported through a high standard of coaching, a strong tennis committee and some proactive parents. We see Juniors as the future of our friendly club where they are highly valued and safeguarded. Junior activities include coaching, competitions and tournaments which run throughout the year.
Free Junior Club Nights, for 8-16-year-olds, operate once a month on Friday's from 4.15 until 5.30pm from April - July. Please contact Gavin Henderson on 07787568642 for details and to book.
Every Saturday a full range of coaching takes place, commencing with mini tennis and progressing to higher level play. Weekly coaching groups are also run for members to go from really good to great (for members and non-members). Our emphasis is on fun, enjoyment and development! Many Juniors will progress their national LTA rating through Local and National Competitions. Our performance squads are run by Cameron Malik. These are professionally organised and include Junior Aegon and South Warwickshire Doubles Competitions. Up and coming Juniors can also participate in Regional Adult Team Tennis in order to further develop their confidence skills.
